I’m sure you will all agree it’s been a tough 18 months. We aren’t going to dwell on that today though!
Today we are celebrating! I wanted to show the team just how far we have come in the last twelve months, that their commitment and trust in LHR has allowed us to grow – grasping new opportunities taking us as a business to a new level, stepping outside our comfort zone on many occasions, how we have changed as a business and grown in a direction we never thought was possible.
One way to do this is by putting yourself forward for business awards, and I couldn’t be prouder to announce that we have been shortlisted for 5 awards with both Hive and Red Rose!

Employee of the year – Jackie Robinson
Jackie was a little overwhelmed as I did not tell her I was doing this. I think she has forgiven me now, haha!
Here are some of our achievements I would like to share with you:
We launched Talent for Good, to give SMEs deeper recruitment, onboarding, and retention support.
Rapid team recovery was launched in June 2020 to help our clients understand what roles and tasks would be suited to people remaining in the business.
We went global! We have clients in South Africa, Singapore, USA, and Australia! We changed how we worked as a business and ripped up job descriptions. Feel free to ask me about this and the impact on the bottom line.
We invested in ourselves and our people. We have 3 flow consultants to help profile and debriefs. I’m committed to a high-level mentoring program. Louise’s first 4 weeks was an online sales training program because we don’t sell in the traditional way.
Jackie caught anything I threw at her, she delivered every single time, including recruiting for remote and international roles.
Aysha’s role has seen the biggest change. She has also taken on analysing data so her new nickname is data ninja!
Louise joined us in February. She’s the new face of the company! Much younger and prettier than me! She’s a natural in front of the camera and loves to share her tips, top candidates, and jobs on social media! Invite her for a brew, she loves getting out and understanding other businesses.
Anne is new to our team and supports the talent for good clients and jumps on the temp desk when clients need volume. Anne is just completing her flow consultancy. She is an ex HRD and it’s a pleasure to have her experience in the team.
Ross makes marketing magic happen!
I completed my performance consultancy certificate so I can help coaching clients with their teams’ performance. I facilitated and mentored on global training for entrepreneurs.
Lastly, we launch something new next week! Top secret right now, but we will be sharing it with you!
Phew! What an exercise to reflect on the year and the success! I’m sure you’ll agree my team is fabulous and so deserving of the recognition to be a finalist in one award, let alone 5!
We will keep you informed on how we do, to get this far is awesome. I know many of our clients are finalists too, so I look forward to seeing you on the night, we are polishing our dancing shoes!
