Last week saw the last of 2016 North West Employee Engagement events at Crown Paints, Darwen and what a great event it was! NWEEG is the only Employee Engagement group where leaders learn and share with each other from real life practical experiences with the aim to absolutely understand why you as a leader or manager need to inspire and motivate your people to get the best from them at work.

Our event was focused on ‘Creating Your Winning Strategy’ Guest speakers included Crown Paints Head of Learning and Development Mark Bannister, HR Director Simon Stead from ACDC Lighting and David Jones, Chief People Officer at Daisy Group. A fantastic turn out of over 70 HR Professionals from across the North West, all sharing best practice and ideas!

As ambassadors of NWEEG, Stacey Hudson attended last week’s event, “As a recruitment business working with Lancashire businesses to support their staffing requirements, it is important to us to understand how a business treats their employees. We are all aware and have seen proven results that when employees feel valued and are engaged, we see a happier, more productive workforce. We invite businesses to NWEEG to engage with fellow HR Professionals where they can share advice and ideas on how to improve Employee Engagement. In a candidate driven market, our candidates look at the culture and values of prospective employers. Now, more than ever, businesses needs to look forward, thinking not only how they can attract the best talent but how they retain it! As ambassadors, the team at LHR are looking forward to the events scheduled for 2017.”
