Job Title:             Business Development Manager

Salary:                 £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + Commission (Realistic OTE £48,000)

We are looking for someone who can start a conversation in an empty room.

Our client Mulholland Building Services are passionate about what they do, with over 20 years’ experience and an enviable client base. Mulholland Building Services, have been providing services within mechanical and electrical designs for over 20 years, being the lead designer on multiple schemes including new builds, refurbs, and alterations.

We are recruiting a full-time person to join them in growing the business through relationships.

You will be responsible for opening doors and building relationships with architects, project managers, and practices.

Bevis the MD knows the success to growing the company is networking to build relationships, so he has his own construction  and property networking group which meet fortnightly.

Key responsibilities

  • Cold calling and fact finding
  • Attend networking events (these are sometimes out of the office core hours)
  • Hosting and increasing membership for the inhouse networking group
  • Exceeding targets
  • Account managing clients
  • Following up proposals

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven Sales/Business Development experience
  • Ideally from a construction or property background
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages – Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate on all levels
  • Outgoing with a positive “can do” attitude
