Job Title:            Customer Service Administrator (Telecoms)

Location:            Preston

Salary:                 £17,000 – £19,500 depending on experience

Our client, Tech Advance Ltd, is an established, but growing telecommunications company providing business telephone Internet and mobile services to UK business customers. Established for over 20 years, they are now looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their busy telecoms service team, working from their offices in Much Hoole, Preston.

The Customer Service Administrator role:

The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for supporting customers by providing high quality service whilst handling new products and services provisioning, faults / support ticket logging and management which will include diagnostics, billing and technical support.

You would provide a professional first level contact function for customers, developing and maintaining quality and consistency of the all-important customer experience. You will need to have good attention to detail to assist with placing provisioning orders for new services with accuracy. Within this role you will also be required to log faults and customer issues, then pass these on to wholesale suppliers and engineering teams for assistance whilst retaining ownership of the customer support ticket through its lifecycle.

This is a full time role working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

The successful Customer Service Administrator:

  • We are looking for technically minded candidates, with a working knowledge of MS Office packages including Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • An excellent telephone manner is essential for handling both customers and suppliers effectively. The successful Customer Service Administrator will be highly organised, able to prioritise and manage workloads and have strong communication skills.
  • Experience within telecommunications is a distinct advantage, but isn’t essential.
