Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 DOE

LHR are proud to be partnered with an expanding international distributor in Blackburn who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team. Our client is currently going through an exciting period of growth, and this is a great time to become part of their journey!

This opportunity would suit a customer focused individual with strong attention to detail and willingness to roll up their sleeves and deal with varied tasks. This is a good opportunity for the right candidate to learn and grow in the role and the department.

Key Duties of the Accounts Assistant:
• Bank reconciliations
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Assisting with the management of sales ledger reporting
• Credit card postings and reconciliations
• Importing into journals and journal management
• Respond to queries
• Inbox management

The Successful Accounts Assistant:
• Level 2 AAT or equivalent experience (would be an advantage)
• High Attention to detail
• Some experience in a finance environment
• Microsoft Office skills including competence in Excel
• Great telephone manner and able to communicate well
• Versatile, adaptable and willing to learn

Working hours are 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch, the client is centrally located with free on-site parking.
