LHR are working in partnership with a successful family run HVAC business who are looking to recruit an experienced Service Manager to join their team. Our client has been trading for over 30 years throughout Lancashire, and this role comes from a successful period of planned growth.
We are looking for a Service Manager who has “been there and done it”, understands the challenges of the engineers working on the tools and can support them in technical areas when needed. You will be confident leading technical conversations and fault finding with clients and field engineers on site discussing systems as well as service and maintenance works, schedules and remedial works. The Service manager will work alongside and report directly to the Service Director.
Key Duties of the Service Manager:
Managing existing planned maintenance contracts
Developing new business leads and arranging new contracts
Managing the service engineers, service coordinator and service administrator
Running the Amtech service manager programme
Develop reporting processes to both employer and customers
Develop and maintain existing customer relations.
Responsible for managing our service and maintenance customers whilst actively
expanding the service department.
Handle calls out of hours on a rota basis.
The Successful Service Manager:
Proven Service Management experience
Technical background within HVAC and Refrigeration industry
Experience of service and maintenance contract framework and negotiations.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work alone or as part of a team.
Knowledge of the HVAC industry.
