Laura Hartley Recruitment (LHR) are recruiting for our Blackburn based Client, We are looking for a Sales Executive / Sales Representative.

Experience/Personality traits/Skills:

Flexible, hardworking attitude
Must have a “thick skin” and robust attitude, able to cope with setbacks and move forwards
Demonstrable track record of excelling in telesales &/or account management
Excellent communication (written & verbal) and listening skills
Lack of phone fear, must be able to pick up phone and make calls
Self-starter, able to motivate self without someone on your shoulder
Team player, whilst also ability to operate independently, making relevant decisions as needed
Ability to display and provide examples of skills in negotiation, communication, active listening and a logical, commercial mind.
Full UK driving license
Be organized, good time keeping & very reliable
Use of technology – Email, PCs

Job Role:
The purpose of the Sales Representative is to explore business opportunities, open new accounts and conduct sales with a view of increasing the business’s sales throughout the UK
Maximise leads, close deals and earn bonus based on contracts/sales won
Developing new business opportunities via cold calling, incoming enquiries, quotations
Ability to stay focused making daily outbound calls to new, existing and lapsed clients
Market research and lead generation
Working as part of a sales team to close deals quickly
Negotiating prices
Providing quotations
Account management
Attending sales visits and presenting to clients
Providing excellent customer service and build strong relationships to maintain business
Producing weekly reports
Working to sales targets
‘Blank canvas’ to pitch; connect and interact with decision makers in up-coming brands aligned with this business
Utilise rapport to build strong & lasting customer relationships
Liaise with other areas of the business to ensure that any customer service/retention/fault queries are picked up for the customer promptly by the relevant department.
Update and log any correspondence, sales, opportunities and cases on our CRM system. Creating pipelines on the CRM.
Capable of working in both an office and field position (varied from week to week)
