We are looking to recruit a Sales Estimator the Main Purpose of the role and any specialist knowledge requirements are to support the sales team with the daily role in estimating, quotation preparation to achieve the company Sales targets.

Working as a team to understand the client enquiry, tailor this to suit our client’s products whilst meeting the technical, specification and commercial requirements. Ensuring all enquiries are returned to the end clients within agreed timescales and contract terms.

For your new role we are asking for Good written skills, able to accurately prepare documents
Good verbal communication – particularly on the telephone. Professional in dealing with clients, suppliers, visitors and internal staff, ensuring effective relationships are developed
Report issues and proposed solutions to Manager quickly, we expect you to have Microsoft office suite including word, excel and outlook experience. Comprehension of the commercial aspects of a Sales Estimating, the attention to detail and impact of cost over runs Understanding & ability to read drawings and interpreting technical specifications.

Key Accountabilities:
Reviewing engineering tender documents.
Understanding the client requirements, tailoring our offers to meet the specifications whilst utilising and best product offering we have available.
Assign costs working with our internal team on prices along with the supply chain for estimates.
Prepare the quotation and review feedback with our Sales Managers.
Issuing Quotations on time and in the correct manner/format.
Sales follow ups of designated clients and Sales administrative support
Attend and contribute to regular Sales review meeting with the team to understand progress being made with current and future Sales, addressing any issues related to costs, programme, key supplies and the targets for the business.

Business Knowledge:
Strong understanding of business principles and how commercial agreements and decisions affect the business.
Commercial awareness of individual project budgets, payment milestones and the output and how to track budgets.
Advice the client of products suitable for his specific requirement needs.

Our Clients are offering a Base Salary £25-28k, Free Parking and 28 days Holiday.
