About The Role:
The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Engineering team and therefore, you will be joining a team of Instructors who are all skilled across a range of disciplines within Engineering and who have a real passion for creating future talent.
We are looking for an Engineering Instructor that has experience in fabrication and welding and who wants to pass on that knowledge to the future generation. You will be responsible for delivery on the governments newly created qualification. This position offers some of the most rewarding days of your career, passing on your industry skills to new apprentices are eager to learn. These young people are going to keep engineering progressing in the UK and you will be at the forefront of keeping the industry alive.
We are looking for someone who is a time served Apprentice within a fabrication and welding discipline. Full training and qualifications in regards to teaching and assessing can be provided as part of our attractive benefits package.
In return, you will join a team of highly skilled people who truly make a difference to the lives of our Engineering apprentices. You will help Engineers fulfil their potential and develop fantastic relationships with both our apprentices and their employers.
For this role, you will receive a salary up to £30,000 per annum (dependent upon qualifications held) and a competitive benefits package. In addition, our client believe in providing more than just salary and benefits and they will give you time and support to develop your career.
To give you an idea of our client’s benefits, they firmly believe in having a good work life balance and therefore, they include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This entitlement will increase with over time to 32 days and you are also able to purchase up to 5 days extra per year. In addition to this, from the day you join, you will receive life assurance whilst employed at 4 x your annual salary. Finally, with pensions being an important part of people’s career, following 6 months service you will be entitled to enrol into our clients Group Private Pension scheme where they will match contributions up to 5%.
