Salary: £18K to £22K dependent on relevant experience
Location: Ribble Valley
Your responsibilities will include:
Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports of client accounts
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Develop analysis and reporting capabilities.Key skills and Abilities:
Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Degree qualified preferably with in a quantitative subject such as Maths, Economics, Finance, Information Management, Statistics or Accounting
Extremely strong and demonstrable Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, functions, and keyboard short cuts
Our client is offering a starting salary of £18,000 to £22,000pa depending on experience with salary reviews in place after probationary period for the right candidate. The working hours are 9am till 6pm with one hour for breaks Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of the position our client will be carrying out full background checks.
